   Sintra/Cascais

Departure from the Hotel towards the small town of Sintra, visit to the Gothic Palace with wings dating from the 14th century, with rooms and halls of Mudejar and Gothic-Naturalistic architecture and beautiful ceramic tiles “azulejos” from those periods. The two huge conical kitchen chimneys are the Medieval “ex-libris” of the town of Sintra.  Continuation of the tour driving along the Mountain of Sintra, whose luxuriant vegetation deserved the name of “Glorious Eden”  by the poet Lord Byron. Stop by  the cliffs of Cape-Roca the Western-most point of Continental Europe. Return to Cascais driving through Guincho beach and Boca do Inferno.
