Abstract

The speech will illustrate the role of the European Union in supporting research on tehcnology-enhanced learning. It will examine lessons learnt from past investment in RTD, and it will illustrate funding opportunties offered by the upcoming call for proposals under the 7th EU Framework Research and Technological Development
 

BIO

Marco Marsella is scientific officer at the European Commission, Directorate-General Information Society and Media - "Learning and Cultural Heritage" Unit.  He contributes to strategy development in the area of technology-enhanced learning, as well as to the implementation of the IST Priority of the VI Research Framework Programme of the European Union.
